Dermal Fillers

The procedure is done after careful consideration of facial anatomy, dynamics, and facial proportions. Results are achieved by injection of hyaluronic acid fillers in the cheek, jaw, temples, lips, chin, and nose which restores volume, corrects facial asymmetry, and augments facial features. Only high-quality, FDA-approved fillers are used such as Revanesse, Restylane, Stylage, and Teoxane.

Risks & Adverse Effects

Risks and adverse effects associated with injectable fillers are minimal in general. The common immediate adverse effects are bruising, redness, swelling and itching in the injected area which will subside in a few days. Much less commonly there may be eruptions, skin sores or infection at the injection site. On rare occasions, hard persistent bumps or nodules may form requiring surgical excision or dermal fillers may migrate and spread to an area other than the one they were injected into.
